TRANSPORTING GASES
HOYER offers logistics services for industrial, chemical, and specialty gases in China and worldwide. These include the transportation and handling of compressed gases, as well as gases liquefied under pressure or cryogenically – commonly used in engineering, medical applications, food production, and mobility.
We transport atmospheric gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, along with other cryogenic gases – including carbon dioxide, hydrogen, helium, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Cylinder gas transport is also part of our offering. Our full-service portfolio is complemented by logistics solutions for noble and specialty gases.

All containers are available globally for short- and long-term rental.

PRODUCT GROUPS GAS
As one of the leading providers and specialists in gas transport, we offer customers a comprehensive range of gas logistics services worldwide. Safety and transport quality are always our top priorities. Our expertise covers a wide spectrum of gases, including air gases such as LIN (liquefied nitrogen), LOX (liquefied oxygen), LAR (liquefied argon), and carbon dioxide (CO₂). These liquefied gases are transported using T75 tank containers.
Pressurized liquefied gases such as LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), methyl chloride, isobutane, and ammonia are transported with our dedicated T50 tank container fleet.
We are also experienced in hydrogen (H₂) logistics. Hydrogen is transported under pressure, in liquefied form, or via carrier media such as ammonia, methanol, or other chemical compounds.
Our service portfolio includes helium logistics as well as LNG and LPG logistics.
In addition, we support our customers’ business development using our own equipment and also handle cylinder gas and dry ice transport.

TRANSPORT

We handle compressed gases, pressurized gases, and cryogenically liquefied gases.
Our team is specially trained in the safe transport of hazardous gases and other sensitive dangerous goods. Whether by rail, inland waterway, ship, or road – we select the optimal transport mode for your gases and can also manage volume control throughout the supply chain.
LEASING
Customers worldwide benefit from our extensive logistics network and broad portfolio of gas transport equipment. All tank containers – including T50 and T75 units – are available globally for short- and long-term rental. We provide the right container equipment for any type of gas, including MEGC units.
FLEET MANAGEMENT
We maintain close exchange with the industry and equipment manufacturers to stay ahead in technical developments, and provide our drivers with continuous training. For both, our own and our customer-owned fleets, we offer full-service fleet management – including maintenance scheduling, monitoring, and fleet utilization planning. As part of our sustainability strategy, We are committed to reducing CO2 emissions in logistic operations. To support this, we are testing alternative drive technologies in our transport fleet – including CNG, LNG, electric vehicles, and HVO fuel in pilot programs. Looking ahead, hydrogen-powered and fuel cell vehicles will play a central role in sustainable gas transport.
TANK CONTAINER SERVICES
Our tank container services include maintenance and repair of the equipment. We are also a one-stop shop for safety and periodic inspections. We even carry out modifications to special equipment in our workshops.
In our affiliated depots we take care of the storage of empty containers before or after cleaning, repair or maintenance. We also work out storage concepts with our customers for loaded containers. Our services include:
